Bellingham, WA -- On Thursday, June 4, 2026, State Representative Joe Timmons will officially kick off his re-election campaign with supporters, friends, neighbors, and community leaders at Stemma West Brewery in Bellingham as he launches his campaign for a third term representing Washington's 42nd Legislative District.

House Speaker Laurie Jinkins will join Joe as a special guest for the event, which will celebrate the progress made for Whatcom County and outline the work ahead to strengthen public schools, support working families, improve public safety, and protect fundamental rights.

Over the last several years, Joe has helped secure millions of dollars in funding for local projects, flood protection, public safety investments, and community improvements across the district. Most recently, he successfully sponsored legislation allowing student employees to collectively bargain for better wages and working conditions.

The family-friendly event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will feature light refreshments, opportunities to connect with supporters from across the district, and remarks from Joe and Speaker Jinkins about the campaign ahead.
