That means keeping public lands in public hands, investing in habitat recovery for salmon and other endangered species, and ensuring that everyone has access to hiking, fishing, hunting, and outdoor recreation.

Joe believes climate change is real and that we must follow the science to address its impacts. Across our region, climate change is increasing the severity of wildfires and extreme weather events, including flooding, drought, and heat waves. He supports continued efforts to reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency, and strengthen Washington's clean energy economy. Joe also believes that every community deserves access to clean air, safe drinking water, and the economic opportunities created by the transition to a cleaner future.
